What inspires you?
For some, this is an easy question to answer. For others, it can be a little challenging to describe.
At 522, it’s important that our work stems from inspiration. We strongly believe harnessing the strengths and inspirations of our team makes us better at what we do. In order to capture the inspirations of our team, we asked everyone to answer the question…”What inspires you?” in their own way. We really kept the requirements to a minimum, giving each team member a blank canvas.
Over the next 8-12 weeks, we’ll release videos from each member of 522. We’re hoping these videos give you an inside look into what motivates our team to do the work they do. And, who knows, maybe you’ll be a little inspired as well.
To kickstart the series, we’ve embedded Chris Jurchak’s “What Inspires Me” video and rationale below. Chris is our Digital Art Director and kindly volunteered to lead the charge. Let us know what you think.
What inspires me?
It’s a really tough question and I think it’s a tough question because it sometimes takes a level of deeper understanding to define what influences us – what drives us. Inspiration is something that can’t be calculated or quantified and without measurement it’s sometimes hard to understand.
Sometimes I think inspiration is as easy as looking at what’s around us and naturally being influenced. The city we live in, the music we listen to, the media we watch all enters into the products we develop. Other times when we seek inspiration it seems harder to find. The story about what inspires me is the story of what surrounds me.
