Iona’s In-Home Peer Support program is a new citywide initiative designed to enhance the quality of life for isolated older DC residents and provide employment opportunities for older adults. Part-time Peer Support Workers provide in-home conversation while also helping with small everyday tasks. 522 Productions partnered with Iona to create a video that showcases some of the incredible Peer Support Workers and the impact they have on their community.
