Corning, a Fortune 500 company, is one of the world’s leading innovators in materials science. For more than 160 years, the company has applied unparalleled expertise in specialty glass, ceramics, and optical physics to develop products that have created new industries and transformed lives. Recently, Corning wanted to demonstrate their innovations while at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and create a short video for post-event promotions.
During the event, 522 worked with Corning team members to harness the excitement of their products by capturing the interactions with CES attendees. 522 provided a smaller crew so we could be unobtrusive to the reactions of attendees. We felt authentic reactions and genuine expressions would provide a solid foundation for the video.
Our crew focused on the experiences of Corning’s customers. The CES event was a perfect platform to show the initial reactions of consumers. We used long lenses and efficient camera packages to get into tight spots while at the event. Our crew immersed themselves in the Corning booth and helped capture genuine moments for use in the video.
The short video was a premium anchor for Corning’s post-event marketing campaign. The video served as a summary to Corning’s major product releases at CES and helped carry the momentum gained at the CES event.
