Condition H Program video debuts at National Quality Improvement Meeting
Thursday - April 22, 2010
Alexandria, VA -- April 22, 2010 - 522 Productions, LLC (522productions.com) recently debuted its latest client video project highlighting the Condition H (Help) program at the National Quality Improvement Leader (NQIL) Meeting in Maryland.
522 Productions, LLC has been working with the Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care (www.delmarvafoundation.org), a national, not-for-profit organization that provides leadership services and consultative resources that ensure all Americans receive care that is safe, effective, efficient, equitable, timely, and patient-centered, to promote the program.
Condition H (Help) provides an additional layer of safety for patients and their families when loved ones are admitted to the hospital. Patients and family members can call a Condition H if there's a noticeable, clinical change in the patient and the care team is not available or if there’s a breakdown in how care is being managed. Hospitals have a rapid response team that is dedicated to answering Condition H calls.
The Condition H video was included as part of a training program for quality improvement leaders who then train other Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) staff on methodologies and use techniques to positively impact patient safety measures. The purpose of the meeting was to ensure the success of the National Patient Safety Initiative (NPSI).
